Green area in Raimundo Fernandez Villaverde Road
The drainage proposal projected for the green area of the Urban Realm Project APR.07.09 TPA Raimundo Fernández Villaverde, in Madrid includes Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). The project incorporates filter drains to collect, treat and convey runoff to four underground tanks made with polypropylene cells (with a total storage volume of 24 m³), and rain gardens.
The proposed drainage system reduces the volumes discharged to the borough sewer network, since the water stored in the tanks is released in a controlled way by passive irrigation and infiltration to the ground.
Technical support in the definition of the drainage strategy and preparation of report which includes the calculation of the surface water network with the use of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
