SuDS Guidance for Castelló de la Plana
This Guidance’s goal is to progress towards a more water-sensitive city model, promoting the approach of surface water sustainable management by using Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), which are techniques inspired by Nature-Based Solutions (NBS).
This Guidance is applicable to all urban realm actions and housing developments in urban areas, both for public and private spaces in Castelló de la Plana, which has an area of 107.50 km² and a population of 579,962 inhabitants in 2019.
