Participation in the I Jornada Cátedra Bertolín

Last Thursday, 24th of November, Green Blue Management participated in the I jornada Cátedra Bertolín, relating to Sustainable Drainage Innovation projects.

After the first part of the session, where the regulation in Spain and past experiences in urban sustainable drainage were introduced; Alberto Gay gave a presentation, entitled “SuDS applicated in highways and railways. Experiences in the UK and Ireland”, discussing the relevant sustainable drainage regulation and his personal working experience in both countries.

Subsequently, Sara Perales acted as moderator for the debate “Future application of SuDS as sustainable drainage solutions and traffic safety improvement for linear infrastructures”; where distinguished representatives of different institutions participated, such as Álvaro Cuadrado (Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana), Encarnación Calatayud (Conselleria de Política Territorial, Obras Públicas y Movilidad), Mónica Laura Alonso (Diputación de Valencia), Ignacio Meana (ADIF) y César Cuesta (FGV).
